"Looking Through God's Perspective"
Scripture: Matthew 25:34-36 NIV

"Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

Devotion:
This powerful passage reveals Jesus’ teaching on serving others. The acts of kindness described—feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, welcoming strangers, clothing the needy, caring for the sick, and visiting the imprisoned—are practical, everyday ways to demonstrate God’s love.

The striking part of this teaching is when Jesus identifies Himself with the "least of these." Every act of compassion toward someone in need is as if it were done directly for Him. This reminds us that our faith is not just about belief but about action—living out God’s love through selfless service.

It also challenges us to evaluate our perspective on others. Do we see the image of God in every person we encounter? Are we willing to step out of our comfort zones to care for those who are marginalized or in need? Jesus calls us to live a life of compassion and generosity, reflecting His heart in all we do.
