Daily Devotional - Terms of Agreement - WK9 - 2/25/25 - Day 56 - "One Mind"

“One Mind”
Scripture: Romans 15:5 NIV

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had,”

Devotion:    
As children of God, we all want to hear Him say, well done. We are all living to live again. That is why it is so important that we as sisters and brothers in Christ encourage, uplift, pray for, and support each other. In today’s scripture, Paul is praying that the people of God live in harmony with one another and follow the example of Jesus Christ by being of one mind and one voice in serving and worshiping God together. If God said He would be in the midst of two or three gathered in His name, can you imagine what would happen if thousands or more gathered?

On the day of Pentecost, the people were of “one accord” and they were in “one place,” and then the power of the Holy Ghost showed up. I am sure we can all attest to having experienced miracles, signs, and wonders and mighty moves of God in our lives. The key to those mighty moves of God was faith-filled believers united in harmony praying the same, speaking the same, and believing the same. The Word declares that if we lift up God, then He would draw all men unto Him. As children of God, we must stop lifting grievances, division, and confusion, and truly lift the name of Jesus in unity and love.

Prayer:
Lord, help us to fully and completely lift You up on one accord and be of one mind. Help us rebuke division and embrace Your love in all that we say and do. Amen.
