“Living in Peace and Encouragement”
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 13:11 (NIV)

“Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.”

Devotion:
In this final encouragement to the Corinthians, Paul urges them to embrace joy, unity, and peace. These words remind us that Christian living is not meant to be lived in isolation or division, but in a spirit of encouragement and harmony.

We all experience moments of conflict, whether in our families, friendships, or workplaces. Yet, Paul calls us to "strive for full restoration"—meaning we should actively work toward reconciliation and healing. Living in peace doesn't mean avoiding difficulties, but rather choosing love and understanding over division.

When we make the effort to build others up and live in unity, we invite the presence of God’s love and peace into our lives. His presence isn’t just a distant promise but a reality that fills and sustains us when we commit to living according to His will.

Application:

• Choose to encourage someone today—whether through kind words, a thoughtful message, or an act of service.
• If there is conflict in your life, pray for wisdom and take a step toward reconciliation.
• Seek unity in your relationships by focusing on what brings you together rather than what separates you.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love and peace that surpass all understanding. Help me to be an encourager, to seek reconciliation where there is division, and to live in harmony with those around me. Fill my heart with joy and teach me to reflect Your peace in all I do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
