“Victory is Mine”
Scripture: Nahum 1:15

“Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace! O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts, perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.”

Devotion:
God's children are known to give Him praise. We know that the name Judah means praise.
Just like Judah, we too were oppressed because of the enemy. And just like Judah, we too are delivered from the hands of the enemy. We too can experience the good news – the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus brought peace to our hearts, freeing us from sin and fear. Just as Judah was encouraged to celebrate and live in response to God’s deliverance, we too are called to live with gratitude and obedience, reflecting the peace He has given us.

And because He has destroyed the enemy, we can now go forth in praise and worship, rejoicing over what He’s done. God Himself has stepped in and utterly destroyed the enemy, and we don't have to be afraid anymore of what the enemy tries to do.

Prayer:
Father, we thank You for being our protector and knowing that we don't have to fight in the battle with the enemy because You've already won the battle. Help us to remember when things come against us, that we can lean on You and trust in You as we continue to give You praise in advance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
