“Rooted Joy”
Scripture: Psalm 20:5

"We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.”

Psalm 20:5 is a verse filled with celebration, faith, and hope. It portrays a heart that rejoices not just in personal triumph, but in the victory of others who trust in God. The "banners" lifted up symbolize public acknowledgment of God’s goodness and faithfulness. This verse reminds us that our victories, whether personal or communal, are ultimately rooted in God’s provision and grace.

It also reflects a deep trust in God’s ability to answer prayers. The psalmist anticipates God’s blessings even before they are fully realized, modeling a faith that is confident in God’s care and power.
