“The Lord is Faithful”
Scripture: Deuteronomy 16:1

“Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the Lord thy God: for in the month of Abib the Lord thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.”

Devotion: 
Deuteronomy 16:1 calls God's people to remember and celebrate the deliverance He provided. The Israelites were commanded to observe the Passover as a reminder of their miraculous freedom from slavery in Egypt. This verse highlights God's power, His faithfulness to His promises, and His call for us to worship Him in gratitude and obedience.

Just as the Israelites were delivered from physical bondage, we are invited to celebrate how God has delivered us spiritually. Through Jesus, the true Passover Lamb, we have been freed from the bondage of sin and death. Observing God's faithfulness helps us cultivate a spirit of gratitude and trust in His plans, even when we face difficulties.

Application:
Remember God's Faithfulness: Take time to reflect on ways God has delivered or provided for you in the past.

Celebrate His Goodness: Incorporate worship into your day as a way to honor and thank God for His blessings.

Live in Obedience: Let your gratitude inspire you to live in alignment with His Word and share His love with others.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness throughout history and in my life. Just as You delivered the Israelites from Egypt, You have delivered me through the sacrifice of Jesus. Help me to live each day in remembrance of Your love, celebrating Your goodness and sharing it with those around me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
