“A Kingdom Unmoved”
Scripture: Hebrews 12:28

“Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear”

Devotion:
As members of Christ's Body, we are children of God and joint heirs with Christ. We
have been promised positions in His coming kingdom, where we will one day rule and
reign with Christ. It is because we have received a kingdom (in Him) which cannot be
moved or shaken, that we are instructed to show Him our gratitude.

When we consider all that God has freely given us, by faith in His Son, there should be
no question that we should live our lives in thanksgiving and praise for His goodness and
grace, and offer to Him our acceptable service - with reverence and awe. All that God
has done for us should inspire us to give him sincere praise and everlasting worship.
The recognition of God's abundant mercy and grace towards sinners such as us -
should incline us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto
God.

As we approach the Thanksgiving Day celebration, it is my prayer that we be inspired
from this day forward, to give Him the glory and worship that is due to His holy name.
May we be charged by the power of the Holy Spirit, to give Him all the honor, praise,
adoration, and thanks - for He alone is worthy.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank You that I have been saved by grace through faith in Jesus
Christ. Thank You for access to Your kingdom that can never be shaken. I ask You to
accept my humble praise and everlasting gratitude for all that Christ has done for me.
Help me to live my life in reverence to You and may the things that I do and say always
be acceptable in Your sight. In Jesus' name, AMEN.
