“The More We Work Together, The Happier We Will Be!”
Scripture: Psalm 133:1

“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Devotion:
There is a children’s song that I remember singing many times growing up. The main chorus of the song says, “The more we work together, together, together, the more we work together, the happier we’ll be!” Most times this was sung to teach us about working as a team. This is true in every aspect of life. We are better together. Knowing that God is love, and having God as our ultimate leader helps us see and understand the importance of showing love and working together. Good leadership is not about telling others what to do, but rather igniting passion in those under your charge, to inspire them to rally together for a common cause. How much more effective will all of our endeavors be if we understood the simple concept of having unity and working together. As we go through this journey called life, continue to strive to be a leader of unity because the more we work together, the happier we ALL will be.

Prayer:
Great God, we love and appreciate You for being a God of love and unity. We know that we are better together, but sometimes we struggle to continue in unity. Give us the wisdom and consistency to continue to be leaders of unity and not division.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen!
