"Let Your Light Shine"
Scripture: Matthew 5:16 (KJV)

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

Devotion:
In this passage, Jesus is calling us to be a light in a world that often feels dark and uncertain. Light is essential; it guides, reveals, and gives life. As believers, we carry the light of Christ within us. This light is not meant to be hidden away or kept to ourselves but to shine brightly for all to see.

When we allow our light to shine through acts of kindness, love, and integrity, others are drawn not just to us but to the source of that light—God Himself. Our good deeds are not for our own glory but to point others to God, to reflect His character and love in a way that makes people take notice and give Him praise.

• Are there areas where you might be hiding your light instead of letting it shine?

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for placing Your light within me. Help me to shine brightly in all that I do, so that others may see Your goodness and glorify You. Give me the courage to step out in faith and let my actions reflect Your love and grace. Amen.
