Infinite Power and Understanding
 
Scripture: Psalm 147:5 KJV
“Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.”
 
Devotion: Have you ever played a video game and used the cheat code for infinite lives or infinite power? Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start…..LOL. In the scripture today, the psalmist was giving us the ultimate cheat code to the best thing ever – God’s power. Just stop and think about the words in the scripture – great power, infinite understanding. WOW! This is mind blowing because when the children of Israel were once again in exile, I’m sure many doubted if God was with them. This was another step in their growth and maturity in God.

Bringing this to us today, when faced with transitions, there will be many times when we are exiled, many times when we feel we are all alone. When those times arise and it seems as if the enemy is beating you on every turn, remember that cheat code  F-A-S-T-A-N-D-P-R-A-Y. Once you tap into God’s infinite power and understanding, you will begin to strengthen, and you will be able to push forward. Ensure you are tapping into THE source instead of A source – the difference will change your life immensely.
 
Prayer: Lord, we thank You for Your infinite power and understanding. Help us to understand that we can tap into that power when our lives seem to be in disarray. Help us to realize that You are the source and we can always come to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
