Working Together Still Works!

Scripture: Nehemiah 4:6 - "So built we the wall; and all the wall was joined together unto the half thereof: for the people had a mind to work."
 
Devotion: The enemy will try to divide us and turn us against each other so that we won’t accomplish the task that God has assigned for our hands to do. But we must recognize him when he comes in or around us.  We must know that God is not the author of confusion or division. And if He puts us together for a purpose, we must work together until the job is done.

It matters not whether it’s building a wall like Nehemiah was doing to secure the city or cleaning the neighborhood around our church.  We have a job to do!  People are dying every day and many of them don’t know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  We must come together as a unified body of believers and take back what the devil has stolen from us.

Many of our children aren’t saved, and we have a church full of believers who know how to pray and will pray.  As a body of Christ, we can change our families one person at a time when we band together in prayer.  Ask God to save our children, our families, our neighbors, our blocks, and our cities. Working together still works!

Prayer: Father as Your Son Jesus prayed, I am now praying; make us one. Because when Your people have a mind to work, we can accomplish anything. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
