“More than a Conqueror”
 
Scripture:
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:35-37 NIV)

Devotional:
If you take a moment and look back over your life, I am sure that you will find God has been more than faithful. Today’s scripture is one that gives me confidence and strength, that no matter what I endure in this life, that no matter what I face, I have victory in Christ Jesus. There are many things that come to distract us from living a life of purpose. However, if we set our hearts and minds on truly living a life that glorifies God, we can declare that, “I am more than a conqueror!” The key is we have to stay wrapped up, tied up, and covered up in Jesus and the love He has for us. The enemy wants us to think that life is bleak, and depressing. The nasty devil is the father of lies! The word of God lets us know Jesus came, that we might have life, and life more abundantly. Therefore, we know that whatever comes our way, we can decree and declare the victory by faith! We have to really believe God’s word, and we have to stand on His word. His word is sure, just, and it will perform everything He set forth for it to do.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for redeeming me back to You. Thank You for letting me know that there is nothing that can separate me from You. Amen.
