“From Bound to Delivered”

Scripture:
“Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: Oh save me for thy mercies' sake.” (Psalms 6: 4 KJV)

Devotional:
Have you ever been placed in a but God situation? A situation where you had to cry out to God from the depths of your heart and plead for His divine intervention. I have been there many times in my life, and my testimony is that God never fails! In today’s scripture, David is crying out to God to return to him and deliver him. David was not a perfect man by far, but he was a man that knew how to repent and plead for God’s forgiveness. I believe that is why God, despite all of David’s shortcomings, was able to say that David was a man after His own heart. There are situations and periods that we have gone through or will go through in life where we will have to cry out to God and say, Lord, deliver me! The good news is, God is more than able to deliver us. He has a track record that does not lie. Every test that we have endured in life has only strengthened our faith the more in what our great God can and will do! God can restore life in the face of death, renew strength in the time of weakness, heal hearts, and restore minds. There is no limit to what God can do. God can do ANYTHING but FAIL!

Prayer:
Lord, I thank you for your redeeming power that saved me. Help me repent daily and follow Your will for my life. Amen
