Do The Right Thing

Exodus 15:26

26"And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee."

Devotion:
As we close this week of faith & healing devotion, I want to encourage the saints to believe in the word of God and have faith in His promises made in the scripture. Remember, God is our Father, and He is able to heal us. However, there is a part that we must play in this process. He encourages us to listen to His voice, above all. He also encourages us to do the right thing, which is to follow His commandments and keep His statutes. He gives us His word that if we do these things He will bless us with health. Many times we bring sickness and illness on ourselves by not obeying the Lord’s  commandments. Then He reminds us that HE is the Lord that heals. People of God, it’s important that we remember that only HE can heal, only He can save, and it is only He that can deliver. Our blessings in this life are connected to our obedience and willingness to “do right.”

Prayer:
Lord, we thank You for being the Lord who heals us. Let us be able to discern and hear Your voice when You are speaking. Help us to be obedient to Your command. Don’t  let us become distracted and led astray by other voices. Give us the mind and the ability to do right, so we can live in the fullness of Your healing power. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
