“He’s Lifting the Burden”
“And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” – Isaiah 10:27

Devotional:
Have you ever carried something so heavy that you felt like you were breaking down your own body? My husband always tells me to lift with my legs not my back. When you carry something heavy, changes occur in you. Lifting heavy weights breaks down the muscle in the body to make room for the new muscle that will grow, which results in bigger arms or legs or whatever you are trying to increase. And in order to continue to get bigger, one must increase the amount of weight lifted to increase muscle mass. God does not need our spiritual muscles to get bigger. He would probably prefer it if we were puny individuals which would mean we have placed all our heavy burdens upon him.

The children of Israel were once again in a cycle. They were continued witnesses to God’s wrath and anger upon not just them, but their enemies as well when HE was bringing them out. We must give all our burdens to the Lord and He will bring us out. We cannot afford to lose any of our spiritual self because we want to help Him carry the load.

As we continue toward our wealthy place, let us be mindful that the Lord will lift the burdens off our shoulders, He will lighten our load and keep us under his protection. Let the anointing of the Lord break down all the yokes that seek to keep you from your purpose, your wealthy place.

Prayer:
Father, thank you for taking on our burdens. Thank you for lifting the heavy load off our shoulders. Help us to get out of Your way and allow You to be God! We will be all the more better because of it. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
