“A Mighty Wind”

2 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

As I was reading this scripture, my mind went to a recent episode of “Young Sheldon.” In this particular episode, The Coopers were about to experience a huge Tornado. Mary, the mother, heard the big loud alarm indicating there was a Tornado on the way. She ran outside and called her family to action, including her mother who lived across the street. Once they were all accounted for, they went to their underground safe haven. As they sat there praying, the storm swept through their little town destroying Meemaw’s house but saving The Coopers’ home. I don’t believe Sheldon had ever prayed until that day. 5020202020Recent
