"The Big Stake Out”

12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey. 13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.   Acts 1:12-14
 
Devotional:
It must have been a glorious experience for the Galileans to have seen Christ’s ascension. For us, the people of God to wait in anticipation for our Lord and Savior, our King of kings to return, we must also continue in prayer and praise to our God.
When we are in one place, at one time, and with one accord; the Holy Spirit will fall on us and deliverance will come, yokes will be destroyed, family members will be saved, bodies will be healed. What a powerful move of God that will be.

Prayer:
Father God in the name of Jesus, we thank You for allowing us to read and understand Your word. We believe what Your word says, when it says, we will see miracles performed when the Holy Spirit comes. We pray that when You speak, we obey Your voice without hesitation or doubt and submit to Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
