Day 12: Marriage Blessings
"And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."

Devotional:
Marriage is more than a social contract; it's a divine covenant. The scripture describes a "threefold cord" with husband, wife, and God. God in the center of a marriage is essential to a successful union.
This is not an easy task. Both parties must be willing to submit themselves first to God, to lay aside the independent personalities, to become one when they join in holy matrimony. When God is at the center, there is a bond that no man can break. Husband and wife must work to keep God at the center and, in doing so, they will fortify their marriage.
Husbands and wives - keep God at the center. In doing so, you will only get stronger. Future husbands and future wives - keep God at the center of your life and He will prepare you to become one with whom He has for you. Don;t rush, don’t try to help him out - let Him do the work and you will be successful.
Prayer:
Lord, I pray for the blessings upon my marriage and the marriages within my community. May we always keep You at the center. Amen.
