Day 9: Embracing God's Will
"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." - Romans 12:2
Devotional:
"Discovering and embracing God's will is arguably one of the most challenging yet fulfilling aspects of the Christian walk. Romans 12:2 offers us a blueprint: it starts with a transformed mind. By not conforming to the world's patterns and renewing our minds, we can discern what God’s will is—His good, pleasing, and perfect will.
The struggle often lies in the tension between our will and God's will, which can be resolved through a transformative renewal of our minds. This renewal is not a one-time event but a continual process that happens as we immerse ourselves in God's Word and seek Him in prayer.
Today, take time to think about areas in your life where you might be conforming to the world instead of God. Ask God to renew your mind and align your desires with His. This is the path to understanding and embracing His perfect will for your life."
Prayer:
Lord, transform me by the renewing of my mind so that I may discern Your good, pleasing, and perfect will. Amen.
