HSM 40-Day Consecration – Day 29

MEDITATE: Acts 4:33
And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great
 grace was upon them all.

PRAY:
Jesus, I don’t want to forget about Easter once the calendar changes. Help me to keep the cross in mind daily -- it changes everything and I never want to forget the life-changing and beautiful impact of salvation in my life and in our world.

DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE:
“Always remember Jesus, always keep Him on your mind.” Lyrics to one of my favorite songs from the late great Bishop Andrae Crouch. The words to the song are simple, but they encourage us to reflect on the Lord Jesus; remind us to “always keep him on our mind. With everything that we have going on in our daily lives, sometimes it’s easy to forget to take time to remember Jesus. However, we should always aim to keep him at the center of everything that we do.

Easter is the one time of the year that everyone can remember the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and that’s a great thing. But think of how much better it would be if we could be excited and celebrate Him everyday. When we put God first, and include Him in our plans as we go about the day, He will bless us in our endeavors and give us guidance as we navigate life. With Jesus’s divine help, there is nothing that we face, that we cannot overcome.

As we draw nearer to Resurrection Sunday, let us always remember how much Jesus loved us to die in the manner in which he did, on an old rugged cross. Love paid the price for you and I. We can celebrate Him and his resurrection year round, not just during the Easter holiday season.
