MEDITATE: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

PRAY: I’m sorry Jesus. I let you down. It was the least I could do to give up a menial thing like sweet treats and I failed. But, today I feel a renewed sense of grace that’s been missing from my heart for a while. Thank you, Lord... DEVOTIONAL

MESSAGE: We fail. Pure and simple, we are in the flesh, not perfect; therefore, we fail. However, when we fail, we have grace given to us by God each day. According to the law, we should be dead because of sin, but GOD has extended to us, each day, new mercies so that we may have an opportunity to get it right. Along with grace and mercy, the Apostle Paul says, we obtain strength. It would be so easy to wallow in self-pity, but we know our Redeemer lives and He allows us another chance to live according to His Will. Even though we have done wrong in the past, take this time of consecration to renew your commitment to God. Let Him know that you accept His grace and mercy and show Him that you will turn from your wicked ways. Paul Morton said, “I pray for you, you pray for me and watch God change things!”

REFLECT: How can I renew my commitment today to daily approach the throne of grace and humbly receive forgiveness, awareness, assurance, and words of encouragement and direction?
