Author: Evangelist Lisa Dalton

“The God Who Reveals”
Scripture: Daniel 2:22

"He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him."

Devotion:
Daniel spoke these words after God revealed King Nebuchadnezzar's dream and its meaning. What seemed impossible to human understanding was completely known by God. While the king's wise men were confused and powerless, God demonstrated that no mystery is hidden from Him.

We often encounter situations that feel uncertain and confusing. Questions about our future, family, health, ministry, or finances can leave us searching for answers. There are moments when we cannot see the way forward and darkness seems to surround us.

Daniel 2:22 reminds us that God sees what we cannot. He understands the things hidden from our view and knows every detail of our circumstances. Nothing catches Him by surprise. The darkness that limits our vision does not limit His. Where we see uncertainty, God sees the complete picture.

This truth should encourage us to trust Him. We do not have to understand everything because we belong to the One who does. When answers are delayed, we can seek Him in prayer, knowing that He is the source of wisdom and revelation. He may not reveal everything we want to know, but He will provide what we need to faithfully follow Him.

Today, rest in the confidence that your situation is never a mystery to God. The light of His wisdom shines where your understanding ends.

Reflection Questions:

1. What unanswered question are you bringing to God today?
2. How does knowing that God sees what is hidden affect your perspective?
3. Are you trusting God's wisdom or relying only on your own understanding?

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being the God who reveals deep and secret things. When I face uncertainty, help me trust Your wisdom and guidance. Remind me that You see what I cannot see and know what I do not know. Give me peace to rest in Your knowledge and faithfulness. Lead me according to Your will and help me walk in the light of Your truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.
