“Dwell in Him”
Scripture: 1 John 3:24

“And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.”

Devotion:
To dwell in Him is more than a place—it is a living relationship marked by obedience, love, and fellowship. When our lives align with His will, we experience the beautiful reality that we dwell in God, and He dwells in us. To “dwell in Him” speaks of a close, ongoing fellowship that is nurtured through obedience. This verse also reminds us that our confidence does not rest on feelings alone, but on God’s promise. He dwells in us, and we know this by the Spirit He has given.

When we choose to dwell in Him, our lives become rooted in His love and truth. It is choosing obedience when it is hard, love when it is costly, and trust when the path is unclear. As we dwell in Him, our lives reflect His character, and our hearts grow more sensitive to His voice. In His presence, we find security, purpose, and peace.

Prayer:
Lord God, thank You for inviting me to dwell in You and for dwelling in me. Thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who assures me of Your presence and guides me in truth. Teach me to remain in You daily—trusting, obeying, and resting in Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
