“The Lord, Our Provider”
Scripture: Psalm 85:12
 
“Yes, the Lord will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase.”

Devotion:
Psalm 85 is a beautiful reminder of God's mercy, restoration, and faithfulness toward His children. After Israel sought the Lord for restoration, the psalmist confidently declared that God will give what is good. Just as the promise was given to them, we can be assured that our merciful Father knows exactly what we need and will faithfully provide. As we trust Him and walk in obedience, we can rest in the confidence that His goodness is always sufficient and His timing is always right on time.

God's goodness goes far above material blessings. He gives us His grace when we are weak, His peace in the midst of life's storms, His wisdom when we ask, and His strength to endure every trial. More importantly, He has given us the greatest gift of all, His Son, Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and reconciled us to the Father.

When we abide in Him and His Words abide in us, our lives become fruitful, bringing glory to the Father and encouragement to the people He places in our lives. As we know, God's blessings are not only for our personal enjoyment, no, they are for the advancement of God’s Kingdom.

If we continue to seek Him with our whole heart today, we can faithfully expect to receive the  good things that are promised in this psalm.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for every good and perfect gift You have given me. Help me to be content with all that You provide, look to You for all that I need, and always show that I am thankful through my actions. In Jesus' name, Amen.
