“A Wise Sower”
Scripture: Proverbs 11:30, NKJV

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise.”

Devotion:
Proverbs 11:30 paints a picture of influence — not loud influence, not platform influence, but the quiet, steady influence of a life rooted in God. A righteous life becomes a tree of life, something that gives shade, strength, nourishment, and rest to everyone who comes near it. Trees don’t try to impress. They don’t compete. They simply stand, grow, and bear fruit. And in doing so, they bless.

That’s what God wants your life to be — a living, breathing reminder of His goodness. A place where people feel safe. A place where people find encouragement. A place where people encounter Jesus without you even having to say His name yet. Righteousness produces fruit, and fruit draws people. People are drawn to peace, to kindness, to stability, to joy. They’re drawn to the life of Christ in you.

And then Solomon adds this: “He who wins souls is wise.” Soul‑winning isn’t just preaching — it’s living in such a way that people want the God you serve. It’s letting your life become an invitation. It’s letting your fruit become a testimony. It’s letting your character become a bridge that leads someone to Christ.

Today, ask the Lord to make your life a tree of life — steady, fruitful, and full of His presence. Ask Him to use your words, your kindness, your patience, and your daily walk to draw someone closer to Him. Soul‑winning begins with fruit‑bearing.

Prayer:
Lord, make my life a tree of life today. Let Your righteousness in me produce fruit that blesses others. Give me wisdom to draw people to You through my words, my actions, and my character. Use me to win souls for Your kingdom. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
