“Fruitful Gifts”
Scripture: John 15:8

“Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”

Devotion:
God delights in fruitfulness. In John 15:8, Jesus reveals that our spiritual fruit is not merely evidence of our connection to Him—it is the very thing that brings glory to the Father. Fruitfulness is not measured by outward success, personal accomplishments, or the praise of others. The beautiful truth is this: every believer has been gifted with the ability to bear fruit. Not because of personal strength, but because we abide in Christ, the True Vine. The gifts God places within us were never meant to lie dormant. They are meant to overflow, producing fruit that impacts others and reflects the heart of Jesus.

Fruitful gifts grow when they are surrendered to God. The more we dwell in His presence, feed on His Word, and walk in step with His Spirit, the more our lives naturally bear the evidence of His transforming power. Fruit-bearing is not a burden—it is a blessing. It is the evidence that we are connected, cared for, and cultivated by the Father. When we allow Him to prune, shape, and strengthen us, our lives become vessels through which His fruitful gifts flow freely.

Prayer:
Lord God, Thank You for the privilege of being connected to the True Vine. Thank You for every gift You have placed within me and for the promise that as I abide in You, I will bear much fruit. Use my gifts to bless others and to reveal Jesus through me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
