In January 2012, Deacon Sylvester Davis received a diagnosis that changed his life: prostate cancer. After undergoing surgery on March 27, 2012, he began a journey of recovery, continued monitoring, and faith.


Today, Deacon Davis shares his testimony of being 14 years cancer-free and encourages anyone facing sickness, uncertainty, or a difficult diagnosis:


“Don’t give up hope. Keep the faith. God will do what He said He would do.”

His testimony reminds us to trust God through the process, continue in faith, and remember His faithfulness through every season.
