In this powerful Testimony Tuesday, Brandon Wilson shares how God met him in a difficult season and completely changed the direction of his life.

Brandon speaks candidly about the pain of losing his mother at three years old, years of trying to numb that pain, addiction, street life, incarceration, and eventually reaching the point where he knew he wanted something different.

After moving to Charlotte, Brandon was encouraged to find Historic Sherman Memorial Church of God in Christ. When he finally entered the sanctuary and got down on his knees, he says he experienced the presence and love of God in a way that changed him.

Today, Brandon can say:

“If you saw me back then, you wouldn’t believe who I am today.”

Even through the recent loss of his father, Brandon testifies that God has given him strength, joy, confidence, purpose, and a new way of living. He also expresses his gratitude for the church family and the people God placed around him during his journey.

His message is simple:

God is real. God can change a life. And if He changed Brandon, He can change you too.
