“Gifts of Establishment”
Scripture: Romans 1:11

“For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;”

Devotion:
In this verse, Paul reveals a beautiful truth about the way God strengthens His people—He uses spiritual gifts, given and shared through the ministry of others, to establish believers in faith. The word “established” means to make firm, stable, strengthened, unwavering. God never intended for His children to be tossed around by life’s pressures or shaken by every challenge. Instead, He provides gifts—encouragement, wisdom, teaching, prophecy, service, and more—so that we can be rooted and grounded in His truth.

This establishment is not only about receiving; it is also about giving. God designed His gifts to flow through us, not just to us. Every believer carries something meant to build up someone else. Today, reflect on the spiritual gifts God has placed within you. In His wisdom, He weaves His people together so that His church stands firm and fully equipped.

Prayer:
Lord, Thank You for the spiritual gifts You give to establish and strengthen Your people. Help me to recognize the gifts You have placed within me and to use them faithfully for the building up of others. Establish me today in faith, in purpose, and in Your perfect peace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
