Devotion:
In today’s Scripture, Jesus lets His disciples know that the work of God is a team effort. We are all united as the Body of Christ, fulfilling different purposes and functions. One person may sow, and the other may reap the benefits of that sowing. However, all the glory belongs to God.

As kingdom advancers, we are all charged with spreading the Gospel by actively seeking and obeying God. We use our time, talent, and treasure to advance God’s kingdom on earth. When we are all actively working and fulfilling our purpose, we bring glory to the Father. God created us all with purpose, and He expects a return on the investments He has made in us.

Prayer:
Lord, help me continue to obey Your will for my life and to walk in the purpose You have for me. Amen.

“The Blessed Crop”

"Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him.”

Devotion:
Can you imagine planting a crop in a famine and expecting a great harvest? Today’s Scripture proved that when you place your faith and trust in God, miracles, signs, and wonders happen. Isaac was obedient to God. He stayed put, and he planted during a dry season. Because of his faithfulness and obedience to God, his reward was great.

It’s easy to trust God in times of plenty, but can we trust Him in times of lack? God wants our total submission and obedience to His will for our lives in every season of our lives. We have to trust and depend on God at ALL times!

Some of us have been planting for a long time, and it seems like the dry season won’t ever end. But God! In due season, God is more than able to give us a great harvest if we remain obedient to Him. We can’t get weary of well-doing, and we can’t faint; we have to keep on pressing! There is a blessing in the pressing!
 
Prayer:
God, help me be faithful and obedient to You in every season of my life. I trust You in all things. Amen.

“Give In Love”

“Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.”

Devotion:
In today’s Scripture, Jesus is instructing His disciples on giving with love. The surrounding context of our Scripture focuses on loving our enemies, turning the other cheek, and treating others the way we want to be treated. Love should be at the center of everything we do. Jesus admonishes His disciples to be generous in their giving, even to those who try to take advantage of them. It’s easy to get upset and angry when someone takes something from us or takes advantage of our generosity. However, Jesus said we should not “demand it back.” We can’t seek revenge, match energy, or let things take us out of character and cause us to sin.

Also, when we give from a place of love, we don’t have control over what happens to the gift once we release it. However, we can ask God to help us use discernment and wisdom in giving. If someone says they are hungry, we can provide a meal or groceries. There are many opportunities and ways to give to those in need. We can seek God for keen discernment in how to best serve and show love to others with our time, talent, and treasure.

Prayer:
Lord, help us give in love and not seek revenge against those who have wronged us or taken advantage of us. Let us forgive them and offer them grace. Help us use Your discernment in all things. Amen.

Devotion:
Today’s Scripture admonishes the wealthy against arrogance and materialism; instead, it compels them to place their hope in God. We live in a society that seems to value wealth and materialism over morals and values. The more you obtain, the more respected and affluent you become, even if you are morally bankrupt. But God!

The Word lets us know the importance of being wealthy in good deeds and actions. Wealth is not a sin, but placing our trust in a resource instead of the main source can be. I believe that God wants to bless us abundantly so that we can have a greater impact in kingdom advancement.

However, God has to know He can trust us with more. Giving makes room for more. We are called to be good stewards over all that God has blessed us with, not just financially, but in every area of our lives. What are you doing with your time, talent, and treasure? Can God trust you with more?

Prayer:
Lord, help me be a good steward over all that You have blessed me with. Help me be a blessing to others so You can get the glory from my life. Amen.

Devotion:
Jesus showed and taught us great examples of how to care for the less fortunate. Jesus taught that whatever you do for the "least of these," you do directly unto Him. Jesus not only emphasized the practice of taking care of the needy, but He also showed it in action. Jesus healed, fed, and restored those in need.

Today’s Scripture lets us know that giving to the poor is a blessing, but closing our eyes to the needs of others is a curse. When my kids were little, they loved the movie Robots. In the movie, the main character lived by the philosophy, “see a need, fill a need.” He used his creativity and gifts to restore and fix outdated and broken robots. Although society focused on shiny new upgrades, he focused on making a difference in his community by helping others.

Sometimes we can get so focused on our own goals and accomplishments that we forget to take the time to think of others and how we can be a blessing to them. When God blesses us, it’s not so we can hoard those blessings and keep them to ourselves. God blesses us so that we can bless others. When we extend kindness by meeting the needs of others, uplifting and encouraging them, and interceding for them in prayer, it makes a significant difference. When we see needs and God has given us the ability to fill them, we must not take it lightly. Whatever we do for those in need, we do it unto the glory of God.

Prayer:
Lord, help us give to those in need with a sincere heart. Let it be unselfish and without judgment. Help us spread Your love not just in our words, but also in our deeds. Amen.

“God's Blessing Has a Purpose”
Scripture: Psalm 67:6

“Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us.”

Devotion:
Psalm 67 is a beautiful reminder that God's blessings are not merely for our enjoyment but also for His glory. In this verse, the psalmist celebrates God's provision as the land produces its harvest. The fruitful harvest was evidence of God's faithfulness and care for His people.

Just as God blessed the fields with abundance, He continues to bless our lives in countless ways. His blessings may come through provision, opportunities, relationships, health, wisdom, or spiritual growth. Every good gift we receive comes from His gracious hand.

However, Psalm 67 also teaches that God's blessings have a greater purpose. Earlier in the psalm, the writer prays that God's ways may be known throughout the earth. God's provision is intended to inspire gratitude, deepen our trust in Him, and enable us to be a blessing to others.

When we recognize that all we have comes from God, our hearts shift from entitlement to thankfulness. We begin to see His hand at work in both the extraordinary and the ordinary moments of life.

Application:
Take time today to reflect on the ways God has blessed you. Make a list of three specific blessings and thank Him for each one. Then ask yourself how you can use those blessings to encourage, serve, or bless someone else.

God's blessings are not just gifts to enjoy; they are opportunities to glorify Him and bless others.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithful provision in my life. Every good thing I have comes from You. Help me never to take Your blessings for granted. Fill my heart with gratitude and teach me to use what You have given me for Your glory and the benefit of others. May my life point people to Your goodness and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

“In the day shalt thou make thy plant to grow, and in the morning shalt thou make thy seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and of desperate sorrow.”
 
Devotion:
Isaiah 17:11 paints a sobering picture. The people worked hard, planted carefully, and watched their crops grow. Everything appeared successful. Yet when harvest time came, their efforts produced disappointment instead of blessings.

This verse reminds us that success is not determined solely by our hard work, planning, or abilities. While diligence is important, our ultimate dependence must be on God. When we place our trust in ourselves, our resources, or our strategies rather than in Him, we can discover that even our best efforts cannot guarantee the results we desire.

How often do we become consumed with achieving goals while neglecting our relationship with God? We may work tirelessly to build careers, relationships, ministries, or financial security, yet forget the One who provides true blessings and lasting fruit.

God desires that we seek Him first. When our lives are rooted in Him, our work gains eternal purpose. The greatest harvest is not found in worldly success but in a life that faithfully depends on the Lord.

Application:
Take time today to evaluate where you are placing your trust. Are you relying primarily on your own efforts, or are you seeking God's guidance and blessing? Commit your plans, goals, and future into His hands, trusting Him with both the process and the outcome.

Hard work is valuable, but lasting fruit comes from a life rooted in God.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gifts, abilities, and opportunities You have given me. Forgive me for the times I rely on my own strength instead of trusting You. Devotion:
Proverbs 10:5 teaches a timeless principle about diligence and responsibility. The wise son recognizes the season of opportunity and works faithfully while the harvest is available. The foolish son, however, wastes valuable time and misses the blessings that could have been gathered.

God gives each of us seasons of opportunity. There are times to learn, times to serve, times to grow, and times to help others. Wisdom is not simply knowing what to do; it is doing it when the opportunity arises.

It can be easy to delay important things, assuming there will always be more time later. Yet God calls us to be faithful today. The opportunities before us right now may not come again in the same way. Whether it is spending time with family, growing in our faith, sharing God's love, or pursuing the work He has given us, diligence honors the Lord.

When we faithfully use the opportunities God provides, we position ourselves to experience His blessing and fulfill His purposes.

Application:
Ask yourself: What opportunity has God placed before me today? Is there an area where I have been procrastinating or neglecting my responsibilities? Take one practical step today toward faithful action.

Wise people do not wait for the perfect moment; they faithfully use the opportunities God gives them today.

Devotion:
In a world that often measures success by immediate results, this verse offers a refreshing reminder: our responsibility is faithfulness, and God's responsibility is growth.

Paul explained that he planted the seed of God's Word and Apollos watered it through further teaching and encouragement. Yet neither man could cause the seed to grow. Only God could do that. The same is true in our lives today. We may faithfully serve, pray, encourage, teach, give, or share the Gospel, but the results are ultimately in God's hands.

Sometimes we become discouraged when we don't see immediate progress. We may pray for a loved one, work diligently toward a goal, or seek spiritual growth and wonder if anything is happening. This verse reminds us that God is always at work behind the scenes. While we might not see the visible change right away, He is producing growth in His perfect timing.

God never asks us to manufacture results. He asks us to be faithful where He has placed us and trust Him for the outcome.

Application:
Consider an area of your life where you've been striving for results. Have you been carrying a burden that belongs to God? Today, focus on being faithful in your responsibilities and release the outcome into His hands. Trust that He is working, even when you cannot see it.

Faithfulness is our calling; growth is God's.

Devotion:
Jesus teaches us a powerful principle: generosity reflects the heart of God. In this passage, He invites us to live with open hands rather than tightly closed fists. Giving is not limited to money. We can give our time, encouragement, kindness, forgiveness, attention, and love.

The promise is not merely that God will repay us materially, but that He blesses a generous spirit. The image of a measure "pressed down, shaken together and running over" describes abundance. God is never stingy. When we mirror His generosity, we position ourselves to experience the richness of His grace in our lives.

At times, fear can make us hesitant to give. We worry that we may not have enough left for ourselves. Yet Jesus reminds us that God's resources are greater than our limitations. As we trust Him and bless others, He works in ways we often do not expect, filling our hearts with joy, peace, and contentment.

Devotion:
John challenges believers with a practical question: If we have the resources to help someone and knowingly choose not to, can we truly say God's love is living within us? Genuine faith is not merely expressed through words, feelings, or intentions. It is revealed through compassionate action.

God's love was demonstrated through sacrifice. He saw our greatest need and met it through Jesus Christ. As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect that same love to others. Whether it is sharing material resources, giving our time, offering encouragement, or simply noticing someone who is hurting, love becomes visible when it moves us to act.
