“Full Of Joy”
Scripture: John 15:11, KJV
 
“These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.”

Devotion:
Joy is one of the greatest things given to us by God. It is not a fleeting emotion, it is abiding and being rooted in God. In today’s Scripture, Jesus is speaking to His disciples about abiding in Him like branches in a vine. He talks about love, obedience, and remaining connected to Him—and then He says this: “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” What an incredible promise. Jesus doesn’t just want us to have some joy—He wants us to be full of it. Not a joy that comes from the world, which fades with circumstances, but a joy that originates from Him. A joy that endures through trials, sustains us in hardship, and strengthens our faith. Complete joy is the result of abiding in Jesus—staying close to Him, obeying His Word, and receiving His love.

Prayer:
Lord, Thank You for offering me a joy that is deep, lasting, and complete. Help me to abide in Your presence, trust in Your promises, and rest in Your love. Let Your joy fill every part of my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
